Hank Krakowski Gets Named: “Killer Krakowski, FAA COO”, Episode #1

has commenced posting copies of documents extracted from the Illinois state court wrongful death litigation file of Evans v. Lima Lima, United Airlines, Krakowski et al.

Current FAA Chief Operating Officer (COO) and ATO Head Henry "Hank" Krakowski, self-styled nickname “The Edgeman”, was the Lima Lima stunt-flight team’s “Safety Officer” and chief organizer of the practice-run Pop-Top stunt that killed Hank’s supposed friend pilot Keith J. Evans on October 1, 1999 in the skies of Oswego, Illinois. Hank Krakowski knew Keith Evans was under-qualified, under-practiced, and under-prepared to fly the hazardous stunt. Krakowski also knew that Lima Lima’s “procedures” did not adequately protect the weekend-warrior stunt pilots that comprised the flight team. The NTSB went on to blame Hank and Lima Lima for failing to even have an abort procedure for a botched maneuver.

Yet corporate-suck-up Hank Krakowski acted to put Evans in the air anyway under United Airlines pressure to satisfy the ego of a departing United VP of Flight Operations named Hart Langer, at an airshow hand[jive] to be held at Chicago’s Navy Pier. Keith Evans crashed into another plane during the late-day practice run and died on impact with the ground, his body then burned beyond recognition.

Hank Krakowski and his cowardly United Airline buddies did just what Hank does now at FAA – they blamed the victim, in this case Keith J. Evans. Hank Krakowski's sky-buddies claimed Evans assumed the risk. They claimed Evans signed his life away on a near-illegible piece of microscopic boilerplate that the United Airlines boys turned into Keith's death warrant. And they rested on a concocted story about how Keith’s widow said at a cocktail party that this is the same way Keith would have wanted to have gone out. That's right. Hank Krakowski's flight team deployed the rape-defense of "He wanted it - He asked for it". What a bunch of morally-reprehensible cowards.

After named as a "Respondent in Discovery", Hank Krakowski, already known to the blogosphere as “HanKielbasa”, in March 2002 gave two of the stupidest depositions ever sat, in which Hank further implicated himself as the real perp in Keith’s death. Plaintiff counsel thereupon sought to convert Hank to a bona fide defendant in the civil wrongful death tort lawsuit in Illinois state court. Greasy HanKielbasa then slithered away on the ultimate technicality - the apparent fact that Hank was not timely served with a summons and complaint during the two depositions or otherwise. That's right. Hank skated. But he can't hide from me now.

I don't intend to fly again until inept FAA hack COO Hank Krakowski is ejected from office. [You should think twice about flying in this man's FAA care, too. Hank is the "Head" of FAA's "Air Traffic Organization"]. Therefore I drove 800+ miles to Chicago, Illinois, each way, to pull and photocopy 3,500 pages of documents out of the court file - to let everyone know the kind of man FAA COO Hank Krakowski really is, and to let them know about the past that Hank has taken great pains to try to bury.

Now, you know too. I ask that you please write to FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt, USDOT Secretary Ray LaHood, and President Obama, to insist upon the removal of Hank “Killer” Krakowski from any active FAA duty. Krakowski is patently unfit to handle any matter wherein the safety of the traveling public, pilots, flightcrews, the overflown, or others are concerned. Hank Krakowski is a corporate hack who got his buddy killed due to Hank's own negligence and malfeasance.
